  • Responsible for the code provided by the developers
  • Guarantee the code quality by enforcing good practices, setting up code reviews, etc....
  • Ramp-up the level of competencies of the project team to ensure the best utilization of internal tools
  • Train other collaborators outside the development team in tools such as Git.
  • Animate the Lead Developers Guild. A weekly meeting in which guild members discuss problems encountered by their teams and think about effective solutions to put in place.
  • Be the SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) between developers and TechLead's of teams who develop the used tools.

Data Engineer - Hadoop Spark developer

  • Analyze datasets using Pig, Hive, Impala, MapReduce, and Hadoop Spark to recommend business improvements.
  • Leverage Hadoop and Spark to analyze massive amounts of clickstream data and identify the most efficient path for customers making an online purchase.
  • Developed ETL framework using Spark/Python and Hive (including daily runs, error handling, and logging) to glean useful data and improve internal process.
  • Performed cleaning and filtering on imported data using Hive and MapReduce.
  • Implemented Hadoop Spark data pipeline to identify customer behavioral patterns (Customer Lifecycle).
  • Mining customers profiles and usage information to develop a persona-based programs to determine who is leaking the business (Customer Retention).
  • Loyalty and rewards program (Loyalties).
  • Maintaining the Kiabi's Datalake.
